  1. rf — hilarious. Ginny Thomas thought she was extending Anita an “olive branch” by asking her to apologize. Deluded and arrogant. The Thomases have been pushing the ethical envelope with her political activities as of late but there’s no one to enforce it.

  2. Clarence’s wife needs to get over it and quit living in the past.

I wanted to buy BAC, but I missed the window when one could double their money. I wouldn’t buy any of those stocks right now.

  3. Need an opinion: Some a-hole nearly hit me this morning in his minivan as I was crossing Washington Ave at Prospect Place. I had the right of way and the driver ignored it, made a left in front of me and nearly hit me (I had to stop to let him go). Well—I was pissed. I smacked the side window pretty good—my wedding ring made a pleasing ringing sound as it hit—and I kept walking.

The driver stopped the car about 15-20 feet up the road. He slammed it in reverse and was yelling horrible things at me (Hey (insert gay slur here) I’ll f**k you up, white boy!!) And I yelled back “you nearly hit me, a**hole!” and continued to the Q train.

Now I feel like I instigated the whole thing. There’s so many psycho drivers in NYC, so this kind of stuff happens all of the time; so it should be like water off a duck’s back. But what if my kids were with me? Would I have reacted the same way if I were pushing a stroller? I feel I overreacted—what if the driver hit me with a tire iron, or had a gun? Or, hit it in reverse and ran me down?

  4. I kinda agree with Rob. It’s really tough dealing with a moon face who is willing to live 3 to a studio and work for half of what you’re used to earning for the same job. Then again, moon faces aren’t knocking down the door to work in my industry. They’re too busy trying live a SATC life or pretending like they’re from Portland. There is absolutely nothing glam about management consulting.
