Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t remember The What ever talking about the circumstances under which he grew up. I think there is alot of presumption here. Are we simply going to give the guy a pass because of his race?
I’m not advocating continuing hostility with the guy. I’m advocating that he simply be ignored by all until he cleans up his act and learns the meaning of mutual respect.
Biff–Obviously I hear you. Its a fine line always between trying to hear somebody (really hear them) and accepting what should be intolerable language sometimes (as Benson has pointed out). And yet, to me the opposite is more intolerable. I try to have standards that cause me to speak out that are clear and unequivocal, but sometimes I feel like it all gets very blurry.

What, you frequently pick fights with people who agree with you and side with those who are despicable. You are a sore winner. Whatever your skin color, you are like Archie Bunker. Reactionary and nostalgic. I guess Montrose had you pegged right away, but you don’t get her at all. Of course you are also funny and right about a lot of things.
i think some people confuse the term nemesis with frenemy these days. i think the what is frenemies with a lot of people on this site, but i dont think he has any nemesis’ or arch enemies. there’s a huge difference.

rob…if he was your first, you may get past it but you will never, ever forget him and truly be over it. All men, both gay and straight find it harder to deal when they know their ex has started dating someone else. You have to move on, get out there and meet other people. I don’t know what else to say. I’m 53 and have a number of ex’s and I still miss each and every one of them despite it usually being me who did the dumping.
