“I would much rather have Biff and What talking like that then previous modes of (non)communication.”
wasder, I know you understand what I’m doing as you’ve tried to do it as well. I got to the point where I started to ask myself why I was spending so much time spewing crap back and forth at an online nemesis when I could be using that time to try to learn something. The starting point was to calm my own rhetoric down. After that, hopefully more civilized discourse would ensue and we could begin to understand what the problems are.
It’s easy to view The What as intolerant and the threatened violence doesn’t help one’s perception of him and it’s often over the top. But maybe I would be equally as intolerant and angry if I grew up under the same circumstances. Who knows?
My wife’s uncle was a super, super avid baseball fan. His name (Mike Stagno) is cited in the baseball encyclopedia because he was able to resurrect alot of statistics for the old Negro Leagues (I’m not sure how he did it).
The guy lived and slept baseball, to the point of ignoring his family.
🙁 im sad right now. i think my ex (who dumped me over a year ago actually but who im still in love with) is dating someone else. now i have all these mixed up feelings of jealousy and low self worth. what gives. a year and im still feeling this way, rather it’s sorta just popped up? now? a year later? and the absolute worst part is that he’s moving just a few blocks away from me on saturday.
Well What…there’s something we both agree on as a good start. And Biff has correctly described why I moved to Bed Stuy. there are additional reasons but none of them was for a short term flip of a property.
Regarding segregation – I am trying to put myself into the shoes of someone who grew up, likely less advantaged than me, as an African American at a time when they were treated even more as second class citizens than they are now. He has an insight that I don’t and I am respecting his opinion on how things were since I wasn’t here at the time. Having said that, my lengthy post above does state that I don’t find it entirely fair to question people who buy into neighborhoods out of a love for the house and the area and without the intention of trying to make a quick profit out of it. I’m talking about those who truly want to make an investment in their neighborhood and deal with all the good and bad that comes with it. I also referenced changing neighborhoods and how people of many different backgrounds have been priced out of them by newcomers.
What…you can’t have it both ways. You can’t, in the same post, be civil to Biff and then start that neighborhood ghetto team racist crap that benson has correctly pointed out.
Until you clean up your act and stop with that shit altogether then no one is going to treat you like a human being.
Your threats of violence will get you banned from here at the least and, if that’s your general daily demeanor in the real world will get you back in prison again. Are you about to run up against the third strike. God, that’d be too bad!!!

We’re not battling anymore, BRG. Biff is getting us seated at the table and we’re about to pass the peacepipe. This could be historic.
