  1. “Isee exasperation in your recent posts as the prices of Brooklyn brownstones continue to rise. It seems that you have a very difficult time grasping reality.”

Yeah, I stopped reading that REBNY reports after I saw Fort Greene 1-3 PSF spiked 200+ % YOY, Clinton Hill 100+. Their numbers are totally believable.

“In a few weeks, they will get start to go back to court, with all their facts straight, and the foreclosure process will start to work itself”

What facts? In perhaps most of the cases (which ones?), they have no legal standing to foreclose! They claim to have lost their documents when in reality they probably destroyed them because they “smoking guns”. And our very own NY State has frozen mortgage related foreclosures alltogether. The other 49 will follow. How’s this work itself out in a mere few weeks? 50 states! With a vested interest in suing for fraudulent MBS buybacks to resurrect collapsed pension funds.

  2. BH, you are still confused.

You wrote: “my question to you was to suppose how YOU would react if, like our crazy little friend, none of your end-of-the-world-as-we-know-it scenarios came true.”

I have no end-of-the-world-as-we-know-it scenario. My scenario is that the world progresses, inflation returns in a small way, bond prices fall, the dollar strengthens, the stock market rallies further and I’m happy.

  3. DCB, you’re in MY Hood now. I know all the agents, listings, etc. of course I know you aren’t dealing with the listing agent.

kidding aside, I know you’re the type (like CGar) who uses a buyers agent vs. dealing directly with the listing agent

  4. Cobble:
I watched that debate btwn Coons and O’donell on CNN -she really makes me cringe! – I think coons sounded collected and well spoken where she just kept spewing the same ol rhetoric

Rob – I know exactly where you are talking about – I mean if that was me behind them i would have been like excuse me nicely – see what the reaction was – then if the parents didn’t collect the kid – I would have done my nasty “excuse me” and barrelled through
Ugh – I feel for you – that’s sooooo annoying!

  5. Sorry dibs, the new supercharged posting speed has you confused. Nothing is ever as apocalyptic as BHO hopes it will be; my question to you was to suppose how YOU would react if, like our crazy little friend, none of your end-of-the-world-as-we-know-it scenarios came true.

  6. why is this city so fucking extreme when it comes to things like that? a “designated class parent?” wtf.

    *rob*

That’s actually a good thing to have. Teachers actually have a LOT of work to do directly related to the students. Having a parent with some extra time to deal with other things like letting parents know what’s going on via email sounds like a great idea. Not something I would want to do, though.
