without looking it up…..how many of you can name running mate/Lt Gov of Cuomo or Paladino in the election?
(and don’t say doesn’t matter–last Lt Gov. quickly became the Gov.)
One thing I have to say is that the work I did on my gigantic Norway maple has paid off. I had two gigantic leaders cabled together and extensive pruning, trimming done the summer before last. Thank God, no damage.
Pete don’t know names but Cuomo’s is an ex Rochester mayor and paladino’s is a conservative from Queens.
“(I’m sure he got hail, cobble. )”
I’m sure he did, too, I’m just not touching the “hail is for little people” comment.

“it was super fun to watch/listen as the storm unfolded.”
It was dramatic, I don’t know about ‘fun’— I was very worried because Visitor Kitty was outside during the storm!

Cgar was well protected underneath the BQE overpass.

I still had ice on patio this morning. It seemed to be hitting the north side of house. Even plants in window boxes were destroyed.
I was enjoying it for about 60 seconds until it occurred to me to check the kitchen. 🙁
As much trouble as it was/will be, it was super fun to watch/listen as the storm unfolded.
Roofers/plumbers kids will be having a terrific holiday season.
Man, I’m glad my roof leak came early in the year and I was able to get a new one down before all of these storms.
