Does the guillotine produce instant death??? What I mean is, shouldn’t there be a few seconds or so after your head is in the basket that you are actually cognizant of that, perhaps with sight?????
I don’t think we’ll ever know for sure. Since I don’t think the head would be able to tell us. Also, I don’t know if there are any guillotine deaths these days.
By the way, I used to really wonder (in boring meetings/ powerpoint presentations) whether I could commit suicide by choking myself or if I would just pass out first.

The problem with that show is the actor playing Henry VIII comes across as if he is flaming. Now there have been gay kings in England’s history, but Henry VIII was unlikely to be one of them.

I don’t care what is inside that house, or how wide it is, I’ll tell you right now that if it has Fred Flintstone exterior, it is funky inside and you shouldn’t pay anything over 1.1 and even that is pushing it. But having said that, if the street works and the house is wide enough and/or there is some detail left and it doesn’t need EVERYTHING new, take a look.
I know of some on Gates with this wierdo stone stuff but don’t know specifically this building.
DCB, if the condenser was the neighbor, easy fix. tell neighbor to get it out of there asap or it’ll meet it’s fate with your contractors’ hammer. that brick is great as it helps lower the purchase price. besides, the facade is pretty plain now – ie you could upgrade the whole facade (including bricks) later.

And New Rochelle, which was founded by Huguenots and named after La Rochelle on the West Coast of France.

i wouldn’t be too sure about that. nfl linebackers have pretty tremendous speed even though they are really big.
