“Less government is better government, always has been, always will be.”
But DIBS, that simply hasn’t been the case with the repubs for a long long time. I think you’re hanging on to an antiquated notion. Carl has had his hand out in a big way, that much is pretty clear!
I’d certainly try to avoid it, lech. But obviously, I don’t quiz all my docs on their political persuasions. Or might not be able to if it were a trauma situation. But if I did find out that they were homophobic, and could, I’d want to change docs. What if that doc just thought I might be gay? What if they erroneously thought that and gave me less than their best care? There could be an impact, lech. And with Crack Pot, we’re talking about someone that will influence people. A public leader. And in a period where there have been multiple violent attacks on gay people, I find it irresponsible to make the statements he did. They can incite violence. As someone else said today, there are so many other more important issues to be discussing, why not discuss them? Why come out with such statements given what’s been happening?
MY personal interests are secure. I don’t need a civil rights fight or the ability to marry. Yes, at this stage it’s more about finances and getting the over leveraged entitlement issues back in line so future generations aren’t going to pay forever.
Less government is better government, always has been, always will be.
Cobble, go to the Weekday Events thread below….it’s all been covered. Like I said, frankly I don’t care because I’m probably not going to be a NYS resident after a few years. But Cuomo is nothing but another machine democrat.

OK then!
Have a lovely evening all.

Cobble: Would you refuse emergency surgery from a homophobic trauma surgeon?
This isn’t an emergency. It’s an election.
What was talking down about that????

” frankly I don’t care because I’m probably not going to be a NYS resident after a few years.”
You don’t need to talk down to me, I was there this morning.
Pretty mercenary, DIBS.
