So one of my brothers in law is black and lives in Vermont, where there are like 20 black people in the entire state. He tells me there is such a thing as the “black guy nod” where black guys in white areas nod at each other as if to say “hey, we’re black,” even when they totally don’t know each other. Is this true?
“I support gay marriage. I don’t consider it to be a particularly important issue. There are about a thousand more pressing issues out there right now. Like trying not to go bankrupt as a nation, for starters.”
So if it isn’t the most pressing problem, why is it all the Palidino is talking about? Where’s his political agenda? Where are his plans? Where is he talking about what he will do if elected? SO far all I know is that he threatens reporters, lies about Cuomo’s personal life, believes i adultery and inviting your “love child” to your son’s funeral- and only mentioning it top your wife the day of, and is a disgusting homophobe. Other than flapping his mouth “irrelevant” issues, and pandering to the ultra orthodox right, there isn’t anything of substance that he has said. Silver looks like JFK compared to this guy. As for stereotyping, do Italian-Americans want this guy as their poster boy? Probably about as much as I want those utra-orthodox Jews he met with, to be the poster boys for Jewish-Americans.
Thank you, lechacal, for calling me the “essence of the modern liberal.” And I really wonder what your criteria would be for allowing people the right to vote, because I think I’d probably make the cut – unless it were based on political orientation, which is probably your sole standard. As for ideas – how about equality for all people? I think that pretty much covers every issue you’ve got out there. And dibs, I’m not so sure anyone’s getting rid of Sheldon – more likely Paladino would be gotten rid of first (although, of course, I sincerely believe that the commenters on this blog are, thankfully, not representative of most voters and he doesn’t actually stand a chance).

“”This type of speech is reprehensible and cannot be accepted in a progressive, democratic society.”
Do a google search on US Constitution. Ever heard of it before????”
Where does it say that we aren’t allowed to criticize a bigot?!
Sadly, Obama hates us gays. That’s one of the reasons i don’t like him. he’s a total phoney.
