DIBS I agree with Obama on community colleges. I have taken three courses at the Community College of Vermont: a creative writing course when I was of high school age, and then later when I needed some credits to finish my B.A. I took a macroeconomics class and a small business management class. The professors were all capable and the students were all there to learn (not to waste time for four years). The educational value of the classes was at least equal to what I experienced at my large state University alma mater.
rob…you never told me how much you sold your Metrocard for (and how much was left on it).
Jackal…I’m also sure that some CCs are really great. Inner city ones I would bet are NOT.

Dr. Zizmor’s college of knowledge?
plus i think people who go to community college often major in more technical fields like installing hard drives and stuff.

I totally agree with this. Technical schools are great. I met a guy that took welding at Apex and he’s doing fine.
They are different from CCs.
