Sometimes I wonder if I would get into my alma mater if I were a high school senior. College affiliation is a really extreme caste system it seems to me.
I gotta admit – I am in my mid-30’s and really don’t see myself retiring in the true sense of the word (despite having a 401K) plan I just know and hope that I can still work in my 60’s even if it’s a part time job and then collect SS…..
Slopie: yes, jackal, whatever you say, jackal, you’re always right jackal, brilliant, jackal. A week of that and no fights and I think his head explodes.
Donatella: yes, jackal, whatever you say, jackal, you’re always right jackal, brilliant, jackal…..
No idea of the veracity of the story, slopey.
I find Ken Burns films v.soporific. All that slow music and sepia. Potentially misleading – as if the past happened in slow motion.

I plan on “working” until I drop dead.
BHO got a pretty nice beatdown from FSRQ in the Last Week’s Biggest Sales thread yesterday towards the evening.
I think slopefarm is still smarting from my suggestion yesterday that his opionions on frankie paladino are susceptible to the influence of the press.

I disagree with lechacal over his opinion that the Wall Street sequel sucked.
It’s make believe, man.
OK DIBS I will rephrase – people are being led to feel like failures if they haven’t hit a very high bar for retirement.
Who is making them feel like failures? The retirement planning industry.
You’re not a failure if you retire the way it was done for umpteen million generations before the baby boomers.
