Article in Barrons Online re: wave of put buying in GLD. The author wrote that both puts and calls were undervalued.
(ie low Market Implied Volatility)
Checking myself I see that they are indeed undervalued through March 2011.
After that the options become overvalued.
What that tells me is that the options players expect a turn in the gold market sometime after March.
This could be a valuable clue for those of us looking to time a short position.

Not so easy getting back into the plane. The economics of a reverse move mean that you can’t change your mind. Coming back to NY after pulling up real estate roots is a very very hard thing to do.

There are some really great old houses in Hudson, probably going for cheap. Dutchess county I think.
