  1. Ringo, M4L,

    Read this from the Times:
    http://cityroom.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/09/30/city-releases-school-letter-grades/

It’s very complicated. Community Roots has a much more diverse student body than Park Slope schools. But there would have been many more Fs if the city had allowed all schools to be graded strictly according to the criteria. Because the state raised the bar on test scores this year, existing schools got a break and were only allowed to fall 2 grades. Community Roots had test scores for the first time this year, so they got the grade indicated by the scores.

  2. I never ever wore sweats in public but unfortunately now it’s my daily attire 🙁
Nothing fits me from my pre-baby attire. And I’m not really doing anything to lose the extra weight I gained. Can someone please pass me a chocolate bar.

I LOVE my baby but he made me FAT!

  3. I think many moms just give up – I see it in PArk Slope
and I agree with Ishtar – it takes the same amount of time to just throw on a pair of stylish jeans tucked into flat heel boots and a tunic or stylish shirt and run out to to errands
I’d say though that I don’t fit the park slope model as I wear make up and use hair gel in my hair – gasp! haaaaaaaaa

  4. Pot should be legalized but cocaine should not.

This is on the basis that people are fine to be around when they smoke weed but users of cocaine are completely insufferable.

Meth, pcp, lsd, also should stay illegal. Just legalize pot.

    Discuss.

  5. Thanks for all the stock tips however I am skeptical to take them now that I think about it as you guys are all such jokers!

Does anyone watch “Terriers” on F/x? it’s a friggin GOOD show – really love it

aww I feel bad for girls with cankles bc it’s not something you could fall in love with (like a lot of freckles) and what’s worse is you can’t do anything to get rid of cankles
you know who has cankles – Alicia Keys!
