i feel like today’s OT caused me to drop an entire IQ standard deviation putting me dangerously close to retard status.

    *rob*

Exactly. All that brain power. Like farts in the wind. day. Snowflakes on a hot pavement. Nothing accomplished.
    nada.

    LOSERS.

  2. Snappy, thanks for changing the subject to spaghetti sauce. As I was coming in so late today, first I read about our president, Biff, then it got so all political. I thought oh, I’ll never get through this stuff in time, so cut to the end.

Because I am behind in the news (no rewrites), did Biff take the new job that he was going to interview for that he didn’t really want at first?

I know that frog legs and gravity are important though; plus Chinese and French lessons.

  3. “I don’t diasagree with rescinding the tax cuts for $250,000 and above as I haven’t been above that level since 2008. ”

Now there’s a Republican sentiment! It don’t affect me, so fuck it!”

    SNORT!!

  4. “to use science as a basis to discount or ridicule faith, sets us up for a bad fall as they are not necessarily mutually exclusive.”

Legion- are you sitting? Because basically I agree they may not be necessarily exclusive. I don’t think the state of our knowledge of the universe is at a point where we can say one way or another about the existence of G-d. But my nature is more “I’m from Missouri,”- I am willing to say there might be a G-d, but not willing to insist there is a G-d. The basic reason I am agnostic- because i am well aware of how little we actually know compared to what we need to learn. 500 years ago who would have believed in computers?

When we get lost in the semantics its because we don’t have a good argument. And that’s the case on all sides. But most people don’t use science to discredit faith or ridicule it- except when those of faith try to force everyone to practice what they believe.
