et, there is some pink undertones there so mauve it is. I’m baffled why they thought they needed two distinct(though ghastly) seating areas.
gem, on the opening door thing…it pisses me off when people ENTER a store when I’m trying to leave. I always thought it was let people exit first. Some people are just stupid, many are just jackasses and brought up poorly.
I will still push out through them (men or women) if they are entering as I am leaving.
i must say im quite proud of you Gem for being able to spot and call out the neighborhood moonfaces. i will say tho i find people in park slope polite for the most part, even the kids. a kid stepped on my foot in the subway once (he was probably about 4 or 5) and he came over and apologized without his mom having to tell him to do so hahah. i was kind of shocked.

if Melo is putting $$$ where his mouth is when he talks about winning is priority 1, he should just STFU and sign in the off-season (knicks or nets) vs forcing a trade which would gut the receiving team of talent and draft picks and eats massive chunk of cap space with his massive contract. if he wants Chris Paul to join him on Nets, sign in off-season then have Chris Paul ask for trade which Nets can then offer up the currently discussed draft picks, Favors, harris as trade bait.
by forcing a trade now, he basically being selfish & greedy and NOT about winning.

Sadly, I have a similar (reddish) bed coverlet. I’m gonna burn it after I’m done typing this….altho I think it looks better in my bedroom.
Dibs – I have to admit I too find many women to be pushy and weird in situations like that
it drives me nuts if I go to open a door for me to walk through but a woman on the other side strides right through it as if I was her servant.
women just have a weird “me first” attitude sometimes
