  1. Anyway she would push and even punch her way through the subway crowds without a second thought.
I always worried that somebody would turn around, see a smiling, tiny grey haired lady and punch my lights out.

    Hahaha….go Grandma. Funny.

  2. Dibs – agreed many of that is upbringing. I always learned too let people out first and if someone is nice enough to let you go in you say thank you and you hold the door in return for the person

    M4L – I don;t get what you are saying? I told the girl -“F.U.”

Rob -haaa, ur right most people are polite around here, but there are the few that you got to set straight!

BHO, where / what industry do you work in? 50% matching in 401k sounds like a cushy government and/or union gig.”

Example: employee contributes 6% of my gross to 401k. Company matches with 3%. That’s BHO’s 50% match, not that unusual. I’m not liquidating my 401k (or my house) and waiting to buy back in after the coming crash. Just sayin.

Unless Melo lies to his boss in Denver and says he’s sticking, Denver has to try to get value on the fear he will leave, or leave a gaping hole on the team if they roll the dice on the end of the year. And any team that trades for him doesn’t want to rent him for 6 mo, so they have to ask if he’ll sign. Not sure how Melo can avoid those conversations. But yeah, Melo on Nets with Devin harris is better than without. Same for any team that would get him.

  5. I love your sports analysis, M4L.

coming home from Yankee game last week. oh god, had a young (drunk) woman, short/low to the ground, resting her butt on my leg as I sat. I asked her frostily to remove her buttocks and gave her the stink eye when she had something to say. Date kindly ignored the whole thing.

  6. Years ago I would take the subway with my 80 – 90 year old grandmother. She was short to begin with, and got even shorter with Osteo.
