I’m getting used to having the Brownstoner OT minimized on my screen while I’m on the trading floor but am still a bit self-conscious when people pass by. I’m considering putting a rear-view mirror on top of my screens. Would that be too obvious?

Canada is used to having useless things (after all, I’m from there), so the UN should be a no-brainer.
I sent a letter to Canada. It was easy to address. I’ll let you know if and when I get a response.

Yeah, I heard something about this briefly on the radio this morning, and was wondering what this was about. Thank god he wasn’t from a Middle Eastern country, or all sorts of shit would have hit the fan.

There’s a guy on my floor who sits 3 trading desks away, and he loves to stand while he’s talking on the phone, so there’s nothing at all to muffle his voice in the least, and he sounds exactly like a cross between Jerry Lewis and Donald Duck!!
