Question for all you i-phone users. Mrs. Slopey has an i-phone she bought this spring before the new one came out. Often her email — which is linked to work — doesn’t update for hours at a time, even while she has internet access and phone service. It just says “connecting” and the little circle on the screen rolls around and around, like it is trying to connect while the email stays hours out of date? It doesn’t seem like it is a workplace problem because no one else in her workplace is having this kind of problem with their i-phones. And it doesn’t seem like a service interruption because it happens even when she has service. It is a sporadic, but chronic problem. Anyone have this problem? Any thoughts on what is causing it? We’ve had this problem both before and after updating the i-phone software. Anyone know an i-phone website like our forum or heatinghelp.com where you can get practical answers, as opposed to the scripted nonhelp from ATT customer service?
Would the fire department make me move my plants from the fire escape?
The only thing I liked about Iowa was Whitey’s Ice Cream. Their peanut butter flavor was amazing. Otherwise, Iowa was a huge culture shock. I’d never seen so many paste colored white people in my life. They wouldn’t even use tanning salons and sprays. They were just pale.
Pete, that song is best heard on an 8-track, riding around in a Buick.
rf….great stuff. Look at the intensity of red (white people) on the UES. Are there no black people there at all????
When people who don’t live here talk about all the diversity and how wonderful it is, I inform them that NYC is a very segregated place.
