Park Sloper,
I must add though that I’m worthy of wifey slaving over hot stove to cook good delish meals everyday – dont ask or expect it but damn sure I deserve it
“you know what just occurred to me:
Now that mortgage rates are seriously the lowest ever… does that mean all those people that had ARM mortgages and were ready to expire actually enjoying lower mortgage payments?”
*******
YEP. I have one — converted earlier from a fixed mortgage at 6.25% to a five-year ARM at 5% — and was panicking when it was set to expire this past January since I was afraid of what a new assessment would say my home is worth. Turns out that in January, it went down to 3.25%! So I’m just sitting on it for the time being.
No, Cramer doesn’t tweet me financial advice. We usually talk about more important things, such as how the Eagles choke every year in the NFL playoffs and bad movies we’ve recently seen.
m4l – thanks for saving me from my assumptions that you have wifey slaving over a hot stove for you…. I actually wish I had the discipline to pack a lunch every day (or have my partner do so for me).
not literally every day but large majority. but she aint the cook. it’s often food from parents, leftover from take out the night b4, etc. She does often pick & choose what to put into my lunch box (as I’m doing the dishes, etc). On weekends or when she’s off, she does cook and cooks well

Bif, no better way to lose money than watching CNBC.
Question to those of you who think gold is a bubble: What will be the warning sign of the end?
Personally, I think we we will see a move up in the financial stocks just before gold starts to unwind.
Thoughts?
sloper, wifey doesnt do leftovers. only I eat the leftovers. why? so I can save every penny to buy her that expensive BK house

Donatella, same boat here. practically all cash. are you CHINESE cause that’s what your portfolio is indicating?
Biff, I thought you got tweets from Cramer. What other advice is necessary?
