Are you Danish Park Sloper? One of my best friends is Danish — lives on 4th Place, but he’s a published novelist in Denmark, for the past few years, and his parents and grandparents are/were among Denmark’s top actors. I ask because NO ONE speaks Danish, lol. My friend refers to it as a “country the size of Rhode Island”.
Actually, I read all of the Stieg Larsson novels in Danish a couple of years ago, and really enjoyed them (especially the first one). I hear the English translations were rushed, so I’m not sure how good a read they are, but as thrillers go, I found them very entertaining. I saw the Swedish movie versions of the first two as well, which I thought were quite well done.
His major theme is obscured somewhat, however, by the re-naming of the books in English. In the original Swedish (and in the related language of Danish in which I read them), the name of the first book is “Män som hatar kvinnor” (Men Who Hate Women), which makes clearer his intention of exploring misogynistic attitudes in Swedish (and Western) society.

***********
The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for New York.
While no tornados have been sighted, doppler radar indicates that a tornado could form in Staten Island and Brooklyn.
Area’s most likely to be affected are Port Richmond, Todt Hill and Tomkinsville in Staten Island, and Park Slope in Brooklyn, meteorologists said.
Officials say heavy rainfall may obscure the tornado and people are warned to take cover immediately.
The warning is expected to last until 6 p.m.
MAn…worst I’ve ever seen a storm here in the City. This is like Cape Cod in a hurricane
Thanks, PS!! No love for Stieg Larsson, I guess 🙂
