  1. “Looked in the windows at Eatery the other day. Was super crowded. Looks gorgeous. A temple of well presented, gorgeous looking Italian food. I’m sure there’s nothing in there that’s not expensive.”

yeah – i’m really looking forward to checking out Eataly. I’ve been trying to cook a lot more instead of going out so it would be nice to have somewhere to get some high quality ingredients.

  2. CGar, you went from last place to first place firm and now realize this first place firm runs fast & often and NOW you regret it???!!!!!!!! Dude, suck it and raise the volume on the hardcore RAP. You can do it. You ARE a member of the PACK. You eat. Not EATEN.

  3. DH, I disagree. It’s all about supply/demand as well, just like anything in consumer products or real estate.

I can’t say Justin Beiber can’t sing cause 10 or 20 million people will disagree. All I can say is that I don’t like his music and I wouldn’t pay for his concert or listen to it or you couldn’t pay me enough to go to his concert. This would be the same as saying I wouldn’t personally live in Crown Heights because it doesn’t appeal to me for A,B,C reasons but I wouldn’t say Crown Heights sucks and shouldn’t ever be considered to be lived in. Same thing.

All is relative. That’s the beauty of art, music, creative stuff. Might appeal to a small portion of population and might appeal to larger. Whether someone can sing is a different story. It takes marketing, good entertainment skills, voice, persona, style, etc etc to make someone a good artist. There are a lot of things that goes into that.

Some artists are just good vocalists and recording artists but can’t have a good concert if their lives depended on it. I never really liked Kid Rock music but ended up going to his concert (free tix) mostly to see Lynyrd but his show ended up rocking. The dude knows how to keep his audience off their seats and I had a great time. Wouldn’t listen to him in the car or home ever.
