I did use punch cards 1st programming job, but the data entry drudgery I don’t think so.
Imagine -they wanted college grads to do that work (was at an ad agency). $7500 a year to start.(1977)
i bet no one asks what school you went to at Scores…
haha ishtar. i feel the same way. i don’t have the boobs for scores, but if i did, i know i would have b-lined it over there and paid off my debts, even if i felt dirty and jaded. at least i wouldn’t have the ever-present financial stress-cloud. i could have just cried at night and then gotten over it by the time my debts were paid. easy as pie.
I’m imagining the job interview with Pete for babysitting my kid. How would he answer the following hypothetical: If you saw a poster for a lost or missing kid in your neighborhood, what would you do?
