  1. Just got word that my ex-step-grandfather passed away. It’s weird, when my father divorced my stepmom, people like Bill were no longer my family. Nice man, RIP.

  2. Herpes Simplex, the kind you get on your lip (aka cold sore) is a herpes virus which remains dormant under the surface of the skin close to your nerve endings. When your body is stressed out, i.e. fighting off a cold or some illness, it activates. It is a different strain than the STD, Herpes, though related. The active ingredient lysine helps to speed healing.

    That is a little science lesson. Now DIBS, about doorknobs…. That doesn’t sound like too much fun, but that IS a nice hotel in NOLA. 🙂
