Denton, I agree with you re: the subways in Montreal. They’re very cool and sound and feel unlike most subways I’ve been on before. And there’s something to be said for hearing announcements on a train that are not only audible, but uttered by a woman en français.
I have a high opinion of NYC’s police force in general and in this case I was really impressed. I was also glad I called since none of the neighbors would have been able to short circut that crazy screaming. I was thinking while it was going on…. I hope he never gets a gun.
