Denton, AMD’s integrated processor and video chip (4 freaking yrs after it bought ATI) is finally out and getting traction (apple using it as it saves space in those mobile devices and consume little juice). Intel is probably at least 18 months behind on this. if AMD’s fusion chips do well, intel will be forced to buy nvidia
Dona -oh i didn’t know that was a rule about the Yankees -intersting!
Jessi – no, she worked as a case lawyer defending teens who got into trouble too many times within the LI school districts – she HATED that job – she got the advertising gig through a friend who worked there – it just makes me mad too b/c she complains all the time about how much she hates it and how she would much rather be home with her kid

>”What I Loved” is one of the most moving novels about NYC that I have ever read.
Also, if you happen to have a pathological liar in your life, this book explores that psychology — and the effect the lying has on friends and family members — in such accurate and excruciating detail, that I can only assume the author knows or knew someone like that intimately.
I went to Maze and had a good meal. I was with 4 other people; I was the only one who didn’t ask for subsitutions.
He also always has them make beef wellington. Those cooking shows always make me remember what Julia Child said, that when you go to fancy restaurants and the meal has excellent presentation, you know people’s hands have been all over your food.

“I’ve often seen Paul Auster in the neighborhood.
Auster’s wife, Suri Hustvedt, is also a fantastic writer. I actually like her work better.”
She’s hot. I suppose they both are.

Foer + Krauss bought that 6 million brownstone up on third street with that humongous garden.
Krauss, btw, has a new book out next month.

“i think she’s just waiting for the grim reaper to come :(”
And we’ve come full circle . . . Don’t Fear the Reaper
“I was the only one who didn’t ask for subsitutions.”

Yankees don’t wear dreads, no long hair, no facial hair. Not allowed. That is part of the Yankee “brand”. Clean cut.
