Biff, shocked about Hurt Locker…one of the most visceral, compelling, entertaining movies I’ve seen for years. Fact that it was directed by a woman makes it even better.
Agree about Avatar, dreck that’s worth watching for the effects, barely.
Though you may not like scifi, Children of Men is a fantastic, well acted and plotted, dystopian masterpiece based on a totally mediocre book by PD James (imsr).
