  1. also, at the risk of starting another holy way, Hamas, in the eyes of many people who think that Israel actually does something wrong now and then, serves a purpose. A slavish devotion to Zionism has not helped America’s moral standing in the world either.

  2. “Denton, now that HP up’d Dell’s 3Par offer to 27, you can expect me asking you to buy me a drink if I bump into you at a gathering. this looks like the bidding war could boost it over 30”

Hey m4l, I’m not in the arb biz, so I got out at the first bid. But I made enuf to buy you a pina colada 🙂

  3. Benson, what Bxgrl said. We are at war with radical Islam, not Islam. There’s a huge difference, and if we don’t see it, our mindset is no different than theirs, when they think all Americans are evil.

I still don’t think they have to open their books to anyone. No one’s money is pure. Great cathedrals have been erected through the money of criminals and killers, throughout history. I like to think that God can make good from evil. If the Imam can spread tolerance, do some good for people, both Muslim and non-Muslim, and do his bit to heal the wounds of 9/11, then that money, no matter the source is being used for good. This is going to be the most scrutinized cultural center on the planet. Are we so xenophobic as to think they will be serving punch upstairs while training for jihad in the basement?
