yes I bring my lunch 4 days a week now too so does most of my department and the floor I work on. We all share the microwave and take turns. People are really just trying to save money – despite us we having a kick ass cafe in our building that’s actually cheap – but it doesn’t beat the $2.79 soup I buy at Fairway and bring in to eat….
It might have been Art Bell, but I doubt it. During BAI’s glory days (before its rant days), they had Steve Post and Larry Josephson as morning talk/music show hosts, and Bob Fass from midnight to dawn. Bob Fass still has a program on WBAI after midnight on Thursdays.
cobblehiller- they sold plaster molds so you could cast all kinds or weird stuff for your walls and make homemade gifts to give to ever grateful family and friends 🙂
Actually they might have been up one more block from the theater.
“Ok, maybe you’ll remember this What…it’s been bugging me for years….who was the guy on late night radio – I don’t know what station – he had a talk/call-in show. He’d talk about anything”
Art Bell I think. I didn’t see this post Cobblehiller. I hope this helps..

“All the talk about Art Bell made me curious to see if I could get a sample of his stuff. Is this him?”
