Legion, when will you stop repeating Fox new clips like they are the holy writ? Al Franken was duly elected, like it or not. It took about six months for them to declare him the winner, the votes were counted and recounted so many times. You really want to have a discussion about stolen elections? You may recall a presidential election recently that was stolen like a Hermes purse. Please.
And what he said was correct. Why can’t you accept facts. The cultural center, not mosque, is at least two blocks from Ground Zero. It was there before 9-11, it has the right to be there now. The Imam is one of those “moderate Muslims” the right is always saying don’t do enough. What is he doing? Opening a cultural center that will be open to anyone who walks in the door, of any faith or persuasion. The Horror! And blaming HIM for the actions of the Taliban is a far leap into ridiculousland. Any Muslim off the street is not responsible for the actions of others across the world. Is Cardinal Francis Eagan responsible for terrorist actions of the IRA?, of course not.
As Bxgrl said, MUSLIMS who worked in the WTC, and served as first responders died in 9-11 too. Are they not of consequence? Don’t their families miss them and grieve as much as anyone elses? Why slap them in the face with this bigotry, a bigotry they get everyday, anyway. What “insensitivity”? You can go to GZ, walk around the entire site, and never see the cultural center, it’s blocks away. Even those who can’t accept it won’t see it. What’s the big deal?
Ishtar, It was the FATHER’s (and mother’s fault – she was pathetic too) fault these kids were screamers. It was not their fault. Kids could be screaming for any number of reasons. In the case I gave, there was an abusive environment for the kids. That was how they learned to behave. Kids need to be disciplined but wailing on them is not going to teach kids self-control or how to decrease their anxiety. Also, if a kid is screaming on a plane for juice is probably because the father’s nos weren’t really nos and the father had no control over the kid. Not the kids fault. You have to hope that a kid learns something about limits at home; kids screaming out of control is a sign that the parents are out of control.

Maybe you’re right, DH but I’ve loved NYC and it’s loved me right back. Started with nothing and in 10 years I have a job I adore which has allowed me to travel the world, an apartment in a neighborhood I love, friends I can’t wait to see and so much more.

oh whatever, dr. phil. maybe in your fantasy lala land that is true.
etson, I want to call the authorities regularly on people. I understand this a “later” than most city and many people rely on public transportation and their own two feet for getting about town, but do your kids really need to be out past 9pm? Sometimes I understand 10pm on the weekends.
It just confuses me to see little children out so late. Like that 2 y/o who was shot in Coney Island at 2am while riding her bike. The only thing I was allowed to do at 2am was use the toilet. Otherwise I had to be in bed.
When do these parents who let their children stay up all hours of the night find time to themselves?
“…I followed them apace in my car, with the darkness of night and the distance ensuring my clandestine maneuvers.
They turned the corner past a group of newly build townhouse/condos and the wailing continued.
I didn’t notice any words between them or any physical harm
at any point except the firm grip of the man on the child’s wrists.
they walked down the block towards a small home with a screen door and a woman standing behind it waiting.
At that point, upons seeing the noisy pair ascend the stairs into the quaint home with momma waiting, I accelerated quickly past them to the end of the block where I made a U-turn and returned to my abode.”

ENY,
“911 Is a Joke”
Flavor Flav
**
I see. If 911 is a joke, what is “Legion” following what may be child abuser in his car? What exactly were you planning to do?
…well I figured I had the element of surprise on my side,
so I’d probably ring the doorbell and act like a Bible salesman.

Amen. Middle Path rules.

So you stalked them.
