  1. DeLepp, I went to school in Manhattan Saturday am by the tunnel. It is the freaking Summer Streets program. They close 9 miles of street in Manhattan so that people can walk around without traffic/bike/skateboard/rollerlade and this causes hellish traffic jams on the open streets and the bridge into Manhattan (it is 7am till 1pm) and next weekend is the last one. I am sorry I do not understand this – I have absolutely no understanding of people who wish to spend their time (and their/our money) walking around in the street without traffic. Don’t get it at all.

  2. Cobble, to get the smell out, soak with lysol spray, then febreeze it. Repeat the lysol (heavy on the lysol!). Then wash in hot water with bleach, lysol again, wash again then dry it.

  3. Hi Expert, In a similar vein to your PEE story, the visitor cat PEED on my bathmat in retribution for being locked in her apt for two days.

Is it possible to get the cat pee smell out of fabric? I’ve used bleach, stain remover and soap, so far.

  4. ET, yes everyone missed you over the weekend. BTW, just for fun, take your Boxter for a spin over the Gowanus/part of the BQE to Staten Island for a 1st in your life. There is NO CONSTRUCTION there, none, every lane is open and you can blow away all the dinged up little Corollas on the road.
