  1. Thanks m4l but it’s true. I just hide it well! (rewrite?)

Strange but true: “Simply the Best” became something of a theme song for the more radical Loyalists (Protestants) in Northern Ireland.
I think they still play it before Glasgow Rangers games (certainly did 10-15 years ago).

  2. How to avoid jury duty:

Print out any given day’s OT, present it to the lawyers and provide them with your login ID.

How to be diagnosed as certifiably insane:

Refer to “How to avoid jury duty” above.

  3. quote:
Well, rob, I’m educated, a double minority, and I can sit still for more than 15 minutes. Both sides kinda like that. So sorry if it offends you, what have you got?

ha. it didnt offend me. but im a triple minority, potentially a quadruple minority in fact. so i guess i’d be better candidate?

    *rob*

  4. pete, eyeopening to say the least. I may hang out with a diverse group of folks concerning cultures, but we all tend to think alike.

Plus for 7 hours of being there:
Only 1 hour of active listening, between lateness, sidebars and lunch I got to spend 5 hours catching up on my reading and my staff at work got a break, a win-win for all!

  5. “Stroke it” is so low on the subtlty index, it is comical and I think it would be a waste of Etson’s considerable talents. I may see if I can get a Tina Turner song for the next time. “What’s LOOOVVE got to do, gotta do with it?”

  6. “I have a bit of a problem giving a sh!t about other people’s opinions.” —
but that is also what is great about the experience…
even people you might think the dumbist , their opinions and voice count just as much as yours.
Not what the elite or entitled or narcissistic are used to. (not calling you that, btw)
