  1. CGar, now that’s more like it. I’m putting you on a gradual decline of “Sorry” usage. I’ll start you on a 4 “Sorry” quota per day then gradual to 1 then zero and finally graduate to the “F U” program

  2. Cobble: “Can someone please explain to me why employers are hesitant to hire unemployed people? Seems to me that someone who has been unemployed for awhile would be OVER-THE-MOON to be employed and hence possibly MORE motivated to do a great job!”

Cobble, Would it be helpful to think of yourself/present yourself as a free-lance employed person to some of these potential corporate employers? So many people in the design/marketing world work free-lance. No reason you can’t position yourself as a free-lance design person looking to transition back to a corporate employer. I hear your frustration, but is it possible to just start your own firm, your own website, see if you can get some part time gigs while looking for a full time job? It could change your energy a lot. And by identifying yourself as having started your own company, you fill up the gap on your resume with your own company.

You know your own field best, but that is a thought I had about you.
