like those overpriced yuppie ice cream trucks. i guess they figure mommy and daddy would be proud after spending 100K for their useless liberal arts degrees working on an ice cream truck, so they have to make it appear more fancy and upscale than it really is. newsflash youre a dirty f-cking street food vendor! the ONLY difference between you and the middle eastern men selling pretzels and nuts is that they didnt waste 100K on a useless education and they arent trying to overcompensate for their shi++y lives.
Thanks, why. I’ll check them out. I thought of sending a notice for the weekend feature, and then totally forget in my frenzy to finish this project, plus write my columns. Nobody’s fault but mine. Next time!
Kens, one of my clients lives in the Village near the Caliente Cab Co, and whenever I pass there, the place is filled with tourists, and no one else. Enough cameras for a photography convention.
MM’s walking tour should at least be mentioned in a “weekend events” post. She deserves a free plug – I’ve referred friends to the site specifically for her posts so bstoner is getting extra hits because of that!
MM: the Institute of Classical Architecture sponsors tours sometimes. I don’t know the arrangements with the tour leaders but a lot of members would love your tours so you may be able to coordinate something with them, and you cover areas not included in many other tours but which are really historically and architecturally significant. Here’s the site: http://www.classicist.org
Cobble, sorry, but a certain someone has been sitting in that chair for a long long time and doesnt seem to want to get off it. dont wait around cause not sure if the chair will be vacated
Rob, did the woman in midtown turn you down for the big, gay ice cream truck franchise?
“As my Pop used to say: “Put mind in gear before putting mouth in motion.” (Or in this case, “post” in motion.) I’ll go sit in the “dunce chair” now.”
Cobble, I’m sure there’s no need.
[PSST. PSST. You DO know you’re posting IN THE OT, right? I mean, you have READ the OT, right? 😉 ]
