  1. DH, I didnt just come off boat dude. I’ve long known SOHO >>>>>> Midtown & rest of NYC on eyecandy. My point is there’s tons of talent here that you shouldn’t eliminate it as your hunting ground

  2. I don’t drink at lunch, m4l, except maybe 2 or 3 times a year with some Brit friends who are based in Asia. When that happens, it’s a 3-4 hour lunch and then home, asleep, in a car.

DH, tons of eye candy AGAIN and YES, it’s mid town.

your eyes are just hungry for anything with a pulse since you work in Jerz all week! Soho > Midtown for eyecandy, all year round man!!

  4. Rob why do you get agitated about expensive consumer items? You imbue them with an existential meaning about the meaning and value of one’s existence. High priced, “haute” things are just things. Neutral. If people are snobs, why do you take this stuff personally?
I never met anyone who could have his peace of mind wrecked by an overpriced ice cream. Can down to earth, humble, kind people eat expensive ice cream? Can ordinary people take their money and choose to buy something which tastes good like specialty cut meat (like other people might buy someting like cigarettes)? By the way in the old days, when people cooked for big families, they regularly went to butchers and had them cut a piece of beef for them. My mother used to ask a guy with a little white paper hat to cut the meat a certain way.
