Since Biff is swamped, I’m sufficiently pathetic that I’m posting herkimer’s and my first OT thread from a year ago today (and sufficiently pathetic that I bothered to dig it up):

Biff suggested “CGar” at 2:47; I was on board at 3:03; and the my life will never be the same. As Kens likes to remind me, I was nice and polite and never raunchy back then.
CGar, the odds are against you but if you’re going to get out-bid, it might as well be via a big over-ASK bid – ie easier to swallow that bad news than regretting if you shouldn’t have low-balled the seller (that’s me speaking from my low-balling experiences)

jessi, I never used to like Gehry buildings, but they’ve grown on me in recent years. I like the new apartment building, and even the ICS offices on the West Side Highway. And I saw the Bard Auditorium last summer and liked it too. Appreciation must come with my advanced years. 😉
