Sorry, Rob, can’t announce what hospital she’s in. She’d like that kept private. But, suffice to say she’s in a good, clean place wit excellent staff and is being cared for very well.

That’s exactly what I meant DIBS. Individual gay guys might have a narrow preference but there seems to be a lot more variety of preference among gays as a group than among straights. Straight guys have varying aesthetic preferences but it’s almost always some variation on “woman I feel a visceral desire to reproduce with”.
oh no! good to hear she is recovering. she isnt in King’s hospital is she!?! it’s been all over the news last few days that it’s infested with bedbugs! i think i even posted one of the links yesterday. if you see or speak to her again before she leaves, make sure she vigorously shakes out every one of her belongs before she leaves the hospital. Maybe just leave all her stuff there and start with a fresh new outfit to be on the safe side? give her my best wishes snappy

Denton, you like the houston loop highway? I kind of do as I simply did the loop when I missed the exit
M4L, I have had the experience in Houston of knowing exactly where I was, where I was going yet missing exits on that massive loop – you have to be in the right lane or
you miss the exit and backtracking can lose you 20-30 minutes. I hate driving in Houston. I can drive on Flatbush Avenue here but driving there I find very stressful.
Houston’s weather is awful except for Jan-April. Generally, Houston gets a bad rap from Northeasterners but it has a very lively arts scene, nice restaurants and a great opera.
Oh my – good to hear Arkady is OK. Snappy please send my well wishes along to her.

Good afternoon PLUSAs! I just wanted to drop by and release some news.
As you may have noticed, Arkady hasn’t been around lately. I visited her again today and got her permission to release the following info to you all. The bad news: She’s in the hospital (been there since Friday). Her appendix ruptured and she was in really bad shape for a while there. I visited her on Sunday and she wasn’t looking so hot, but ….
The good news: I visited her again today along with Cobble and shes’s looking/sounding/feeling a lot better. She’s being taken care of by excellent doctors and some extremely competent and friendly nurses. She just can’t say enough about how great they all are (take note, Rob!). She’s on the mend and will be back posting with us in no time.
In the meantime, if you’d like to send her a note of well wishes, I’ll be visiting her again soon and would like to take along a card and fill it with a print out/pasting of PLUSA get-wells. If you wish to send her a quick note, please email your well-wishes to me at Snappy3434
