m4l, I know, I saw that. I had lost hope a while ago anyway, because no commentaters ever commented on the Nets’ chances.
So was there ever a PLUSA Hot Bird gathering? Is there another gathering at any location in the works?

thanks for the offer cgar, but i dont want to be lugging around laundry, especially on the bus or whatnot. im sure i’ll figure out how to get out of this messy situation.

Hi everybody.
The new French pastry shop opened up on Fulton near Vanderbilt. The name of it is Beny’s Delice. I stopped in and talked to the guy, welcomed him and had a nice conversation. Very cute, nice man with beautiful looking pastrys. He told me he is from Nice, he is a pastry chef, that, yes, many French people had chosen Fort Greene, Clinton Hill/love Brooklyn etc. I had an arm full of dry cleaning so couldn’t really manage to carry anything, so told him I would be back another time. But then after dropping off the drycleaning, I realized that I should buy something there, first day and all, to show the guy support.
One of my favorite movies ever is the Bakers wife — the original French one — which starts out with a small French countryside town freaking out and going crazy (everybody fighting with one another, cranky) because their baker moved away and they had no fresh bread. They then get a charming middle aged baker with a gorgeous much younger wife and the village becomes happy again with his wonderful bread. They welcome the baker with open arms, people stop fighting with one another. Of course something happens to spoil paradise and it all gets fixed in the end, but I told the guy that he was being welcomed in the hood like the baker in the Bakers Wife.
He then gave me a little gift of this bag of little torts with my coffee. Thank you!!! So now I have to get everyone to start buying stuff from him.
The coffee more expensive than Yafa and not as good as mine (ahem) but good and the little torts, delicious!!

blowfish, we have “push” on lebron wager as he blew off both Knicks and Nets. am happy to buy you a virgin drink if you make it out to a gathering or to hot bird anytime soon
Rob, you should probably throw some dirty clothing into bucket with soap/detergent and let it sit in there for a while then handwash it later

Thanks, Ringo. People will either think it needs too much work (move-in condition now, needs new kitchen, baths, and some walls reconfigured eventually) or there will be multiple offers and it will sell fast.
