Actually Dave, I sat down this morning with my coffee before running out the door and I saw this post
“Anybody grow up with Mother Goose Liverwurst? I’m having my sandwich now. it is without a doubt the best liverwurst ever and you cannot get it in Manhattan anymore. Oddly I found it at the Super Food Town on Atlantic.”
I did, and it really is the BEST. Honestly, I thought that besides the local senior citizens that my husband and I were the only two people still buying and enjoying liverwurst. I haven’t seen Mother Goose Liverwurst in years and frankly I’m quite jealous. Enjoy it!!
P.S. when I was little my sister couldn’t pronounce Liverwurst and she would tell my mom she wanted a “sticky stuff” sandwich. Which is what we still call it today in our house.
Sheeeees baaaaack. And all white trash like too.
