HA! i used to have white out contacts a long long time ago. i actually bought them in my prescription cuz my eye doctor at the time used to sell those crazy contacts. basically youre entire eye is white except the pupil, you sorta look demonic, but it was retarded i cant believe i walked around like that for a year :-/ my eye doctor never mentioned to me they might be dangerous, i cant imagine why they would be as long as light is still entering the pupil.. they werent as comfortable as regular contacts tho.

I’m not sure. I was running my kitchen A/C, which I ran off and on yesterday for like an hour at a time just to cool down the kit/livingroom where my computer. The A/C was making a funny nose, and I went over to listen to it, and it got worse, and then click, I heard the circuit breaker pop, and the ceiling fan slowed down. I turned the A/C ‘off’, and called BH.
BH thinks that the compressor in the kitchen A/C didn’t like the lowered voltage over here. And so it overheated and blew the circuit breaker. So I’ll just leave that one off.
The 2nd A/C is going and it’s keeping the apt. about 80 degrees. So I guess that’s ok.

i lived in a decrepet old house in college with a gazillion people who all insisted on running their AC’s when it was out hot..we had those old old old fuses and bad wiring the landlord was always stopping by and yelling at us and the fuses were always blowing. went down there once and the wires were red hot and it smelled funky. that shi+ scares the hell out of me too.

Cobble, tenants (and my) blowing circuits in the house one by one was how I diagnosed all the things wrong with my wiring. Also, lesson to tenants on how much voltage each outlet can handle. Did you just overload a circuit or do you think there is something wrong?
