oh god dumb question. do i need a surge protector if im using my computer, especially with all these brownouts going on!? i didnt even think of that.. i dont think i even have one. ive never used them before. can brownouts damage a computer if you have it on? what about a blackout?
i f*cking hate mother nature with a passion. come back ice princess for you are missed!
Ha! cobble, yo not lived! Indian fuses used to be a porcelain thingy you had to get fingers around and pull real hard to get out. Thing is, you could easily slide your fingers around to the wire part as you pulled hard. With predictable results. Also all electricity is 220v and almost all floors are concrete (conductive, unlike the wooden floors here) so getting a shock was just a rite of passage.
You can see why I laugh at you wimps being scared mere 110v and grounds everywhere to keep you safe.
oh wow i totally forgot i have that survey to take from that research firm this weekend, i got a call reminding me.. i get paid 150 dollars after taking the survey. woo woo!!
*rob*
…uh, I heard there was some sort of marketing scam going on where they bring you in to do a survey, but it’s really just a ploy to make you pick bedbugs off of peacocks at the zoo in front of screaming toddlers.
So no A/C at all?? Is that why the kitchen one was making a weird noise? What about fridge, or my computer? It got really hot, so I turned it off, and I’m using my netbook for a bit.(battery)
ugh, cmu! Don’t laugh! I’m sitting here with no A/C on for fear of ruining them and my computer!

“Is there a lawyer out there who specializes in PLUSA tradename infringement???”
Benson, look no further. SSC&J, LLP is on the case.
(I don’t know where the hell Slopey, Snappy and Jessi are, but it’s been a good day for business development in the OT)

Who’s this “Bennie” guy? I sense a copyright infringement on one of the most valued Brownstoner handles 🙂

Very, very busy these days, so no time to post. However, let me just say: Bennie ====> I’m watching!!!
“so I would always turn it on and off
just for fun.”
LOL, Legion. I think they did that on an episode of Friends, too.
Very, very jealous, Dave!!!

I’d watch out if I were you.
DIBS, Great to hear you got out on your boat!
