Ah, thanks, ishtar. We had a “stinky stuff” policy at my last two places of employment. You could be reprimanded due to possible allergy issues.

Except during the height of pollen season, I have an acute sense of smell. I absolutely can’t stand manufactured smells; they make me sick. Re: ghetto cologne, one year at Christmas a long time ago, I went on a mission to get various men in my life to stop using Brut. My brother used it, a boyfriend used it, a co-worker. I bought some kind of natural citrus-based stuff. (What a marketing campaign! Schent of Alpha male chest thumpers. It smelled like dog. But the guys didn’t seem to care).
