Bus stop wet day
she’s there I say
please share my umbrella
Bus stop bus goes
she stays love grows
under my umbrella
All that summer we enjoyed
the wind and rain and shine
That umbrella we employed it
by August she was mine
Every morning I would see her waiting at the stop
sometimes she’d shop and she would show me what she bought
All the people stared as if we were both quite insane
Some day my name and hers are going to be the saaaaaaame!
Thanks. For sexual harassment and drinking on the job.
Snappy, I love Riders On The Storm.
Mostly because it came out during the summer of 1971 when I was on vacation on Cape Cod and there’s nothing like a Cape Cod thunderstorm!!!!!
I remember a lot of Carol King from those vacations and, of course, “Brandy.”

“”Raindrops Keep Fallin’ On My Head”
Yeah, that one was popular when I was in 2nd grade!!
“But it’s such good stuff!”
Whatever floats your boat, dear! : D
Cobble, another corny one…B.J. Thomas’s version of “Raindrops Keep Fallin’ On My Head” 🙂
