As Potter Stewart said about porn, I’ll know it when I see it. I’m finding a real dearth of inventory in Brooklyn Heights-Cobble Hill-Carroll Gardens, where I’m mostly looking.
cgar, there are tons of places to buy porn in gowanus and sunset park. you are looking in the wrong neighborhoods!! unless youre looking for softcore lezzie lovemaking instructional dvds and video seminars showing old people how to bring the spark back into their marriage.
Ringo, search the forums about radiant heat. There was a very interesting discussion about it a while back. I seem to recall that most people had issues with it and/or didn’t like it.
Gem10, there is a new job that just went up at my company that you might be interested in. You know my company name so just look online or email me (I think you still have my email addy).
just walked TWO blocks in soho and between the pushy envirotards and gay rights money grubbers, the fake rap stars AGGRESSIVELY hawking their cds and harassing people on the street to buy their crap, throngs of teenagers from long island and new jersey getting their overpriced mall on, and the eurotrash, it’s enough to make you want to walk right into a giant trunk. i was so frazzled just now i couldnt find a bank two blocks away that ive been to hundreds of times!
Anyone have radiant heat? I have to decide finally about this for weekend house. Forced hot air plus central a/c or radiant. Radiant alone would be more money and the forced hot air is much improved over the olden days. And should I need to rent out, I think central a/c matters. But I’m still tempted. Will someone decide for me?
M4L – yeah agreed about 11217 – he’s just picking on me for no real reason – hahaha – whatevs!
Cgar – truer words never spoken – that’s the thing about houses – they really do find you – you haven’t found your castle yet – it’s out there – just not yet

Forced air. Radiant is actually very nice but like you said, more expensive and it doesn’t give you the option of easily installing central AC
