Arkady…if you like Sparks, try Keen’s, no others; you’ll be disappointed by most of them. I have not been to the Delmonico’s in the Financial District though.
You’ll be disappointed by all of them…EXCEPT….if you’re in the mood for a giant pork hock with crispy skin…then go to maloney & procelli
Dave, ever go to The Prime Rib in Philly? Once went on a date there with a sleazy Russian dude.

OK, but Ben Benson’s is also off 6th Ave near Rock Crtr. Excellent place. Has a bit of a men’s club atmosphere to it, though.
I went to the Del Frisco in Dallas and didn’t like it at all.
ET used to charge around $250 a night but can probably be negotiated down to $50 or so.

oh and don’t forget the tomato, onion and stilton cheese appetizer, a meal in itself.
I go to The Palm in Philly and really love it. it’s nowhere near as loud as in NYC. Service is great.
Wollensky’s is on 49th & 2nd maybe..also Maloney & Porcelli (owned by Smith & Wollenski’s) is around the low 50s maybe between Madison & Park.
Smith and Wollenski’s here ran out of Prime Rib once on me.
Whenever I go to The Palm, I make sure I reserve one, rare.
