Arkady, I am guessing you still have a tube TV, not an LCD with digital tuner, correct?
My friend who works in PC Richards told me that with digital LCDs, all you need is a antenna box with no antenna on roof and it’ll pick up all the regular channels well. I didn’t know that part.
Pete – Are you getting t.v. reception? BH gave me a lot of info on what isn’t possible for over-the-air pickup of signals but I continue to hope there’s an easy solution.
Hey Fort Greene/Clinton Hill types—the co-op folks came onto yesterdays food co-op thread with a post that nobody is going to see because it was too late so I am repeating it here. The basic message is join the Co-op.
“As the Outreach Co-chair for the Co-op I encourage all of you who are committed to having this resource in our neighborhood LATER to join up NOW. This won’t happen without the financial support of member/owners.
Each member/owner invests $150 into the Co-op plus a small administrative fee. There are several ways to invest in the Co-op, including a payment plan and a low-income option. Consider this upfront payment for HUGE savings on groceries for years down the line (just ask your friends who are members at Park Slope Food Co-op how affordable the food is!).
Not ready to commit financially, but want to help spread the word? Consider joining a committee or representing the Co-op at a tabling event, green market, community meeting or street fair. To get hooked up send an email to: info@greenehillfoodcoop.com
Finally, Park Slope Food Co-op is supporting us by offering FTOP credit to anyone who logs hours helping to get Greene Hill off the ground. Email us for more info!
I hope to meet many of you at our next meeting, July 21, location TBA.”
I had a little senior moment other night. We went to roof to try installing TV antenna and as I looked north I said before all those new buildings in downtown brooklyn, I used to be able to see the WTC. oops.

“I had a little senior moment other night.”
I have senior moments hourly these days. It’s starting to concern me. I’m not quite 50, and well…you can imagine how disconcerting it is.
