“Emily, cobble is the witch who lives down the street.”
Emily, If you are a smart young woman, as you must be if Mr. B hired you, then you will know by now that you should automatically IGNORE everything DIBS says. : P
On behalf of Cobble (I’m assuming Brownstoner employees can also be PLUSAs?):
Welcome!! Your PLUSA manual, and membership card are in the mail.
Please be advised that upon attending your first PLUSA gathering, you will be expected to buy the first round of shots. Identification of one or more PLUSAs will earn you extra credit.
Please send Snappy your membership dues by the 15th of the month, she gets cranky if you’re late, and we stop sending the newsletter after two late payments.
Also, please advise your boss that s/he needs to lighten your workload so that you can keep up with posting regularly. Spotty posting is frowned upon!!
nice to see you on the OT.
tell us which posters seem the friendliest,
scariest, weirdest, etc.
Like a bunch of cats in a co-op,
we thrive on attention here.
Welcome Emily. If you want to be on our official unofficial email invite list for gatherings, you can email Cgar and he’ll gladly add you to the roster.
Expert, You and ExpertBaby will be better off. Besides, kids don’t really know what they’re looking at/missing until they go to school with other kids.
Man, I would so hate to be Tony Hayward today. He sounds like he’s on tranquilizers. I think I probably would be, too.
ET, my sis managed to raise two kids (8 and 10 now) without any TV in the house (She doesn’t watch TV at all). They still don’t have a TV reception till this day. They do have a small TV that’s hooked up to a DVD and she’ll rent or buy cartoons for them once in a while and it seems to satisfy them just fine. They do watch a bit of TV in grandparent’s house and don’t seem to really request it at home.

You can bet Lloyd Blankfein is loving every bit of it since he’s no longer the most hated man in America.
