You effin kidding, BHO? Covert racism? How about your “too ethnic” comment? You give no credit for extensive coverage here of the “ethnic” Red Hook ballfield vendors, when they were in jeopardy of losing their gig, for example. Anyone can selectively pick a handful of posts from more than 5 years of a daily blog to suggest teh existence of any kind of agenda they want, but it strikes me as overwrought.
I thought the two broker switcheroo post was pretty unnewsworthy as well, but at least it had something to do with real estate, which is a major focus of this blog. Dance Africa, wonderful that it is, is an arts event at a major arts institution (and gets lots of coverage in local general media arts pages). This blog has rarely featured BAM performances of any kind. Merce Cunningham’s “Nearly 90” last year, which drew raves from dance critics globally? Not featured here. Does that make Mr. B a homophobe?
So it is a biiiiig stretch to suggest that I am covertly racist for seeing no racism in Mr. B’s decision not to feature a story on Dance Africa. Did you ever think he just doesn’t cover dance?

“What’s the reasoning behind not covering DanceAfrica that’s been held at BAM for many years?”
It’s a direct competitor to the Brooklyn Flea.
Was VERY surprised DanceAfrica got NOT love on here, especially since it got write ups in all the papers.
ENY,
I don’t get it either.
It would be like us lamenting a snub
from CypressHillBlog or something.
frankly, I’d rather sit between
two vuvuzelas while nursing a hangover,
than attempt to post on brooklynheightsblog
again.

“My life is complete!
I’m no longer banned from brooklynheightsblog.com”
So how come I am? I just don’t understand this.

What I don’t understand is why some of you are so caught up over posting on that blog. What’s the big deal?

What about all the Irish dance companies…Celtic Thunder and all the others??????????
Are the Irish dance companies in brownstone Brooklyn?
Brilliant covert racism, slopefarm @ 3:10. Or is it Unc Tommy?
We’re far more interested in the threading and “hall monitoring” of broker duo firm switcheroos.
