“So it is a biiiiig stretch to suggest that I am covertly racist for seeing no racism in Mr. B’s decision not to feature a story on Dance Africa. Did you ever think he just doesn’t cover dance?”
Very selective…So what about…?
So a blog that’s covered ONE woman taking a dump on the street, “marauding” teens that didn’t harm anyone, accused a business that was open all of a month of a needed crackdown by the 88th precinct without reason, staff doing a walk out from a coffee place, didn’t deem a story about adulterated ongoings by the NYPD in the next hood over worthy of it’s own coverage?!
Or…not mentioning the previous article I posted? I know there’s someone who scours the papers for all things Brooklyn for this blog, especially when it some to things right in the neighborhood.

“The NYPD Tapes Series: The Cliffs Notes Version”
Yawn. You mean police sometimes arrest people only to fill arrest quotas? I’m SHOCKED!
This is not “news” to most longtime New Yorkers. Not saying it isn’t a worthy article, but not really surprising.
I’m in Provincetown every Memorial Day weekend.
I don’t think slopefarm ever said it was “corny.”
uh slopefarm – danceafrica just isn’t some corny dance performance.
“A Memorial Day weekend tradition, DanceAfrica is packed with dance, music, art, and film events—plus the-one-and-only DanceAfrica outdoor bazaar.”
hmm – guess there isn’t room for two outdoor bazaars in fort greene/clinton hill!
AND slopefarm delivers a smackdown once again :o).
