It’s easy, donatella. It may be as easy as adjusting the chain.
There’s a rod coming from the outside handle and a chain attached to the end that runs down to the rubber flapper which keeps the drain open. make sure that hasn’t gotten caught so that it keeps the “flap” open.
Otherwise maybe the flap has worn out. They are rubber, get hard and then break off.
Donatella, very easy. They sell a full inside kit at home depot for like 13 bucks.
Dave, that’s partially what makes me want to buy something in PA or outside of NY State. What I’ll save on insurance and registration fees in NY will probably cover my property taxes in the new place!
rf, Shoprite has a special on Edys this week too for $2.50. I loaded up on Double Fudge Brownie (I know it’s Biff’s fav. too).
I was also happy to see a huge sign on Sycamore yesterday that they will be hosting all World Series Games and they have beer tastings/beer garden and BBQ going on most weekends in the summer. Goooooo Sycamore!
How hard is it to fix the innards of a toilet? i.e. replace the bulb mechanism? A tenant’s toilet is running — I am wondering if I just get somebody or do this myself.

I think I’m going to get the “Cape and Islands” plate in MA for my car this year. i think it’s an extra $50.
Where’s Expert Textpert? Edy’s Ice Cream $1.99 all week at Fairway. And they usually have all the flavors.
I was going to get a personalized plate this year, but I just checked the availability (you can do that online now), and A$$MAN is already spoken for.
