I have yet to have the gelato there. Everytime we’re done with lunch, the gelato is all gone!!!!
And if you see bread that you like and want to take home, don’t wait and come back later in the day for it, they’ll run out.
Dona, re the doors, I looked thru one of the sites and nothing close to my dims. I really wasn’t planning on salvaged as this is not a brownstone, it’s a brick row house with little in the way of architectural interest. I wouldn’t mine getting one made out of salvaged wood. I’ve been in touch with south slope woodworks, who’s almost behind me. Hoping I can get it from him.

iphone, ishmone. Was out to eat other night with group of friends….One was so excited by his new iphone or droid or whatever…because it had an app to figure out tip on the bill….woweee….You need an app to do simple math. pretty lame. Of course, he took 5 times as long to figure it out. Another lame reason to buy for those dumb things.

however the mortgage is cheaper than my rent
and my rate is ridiculous low at 4.875% for a 30 year
so that’s good news
and yes ENY I can collect unemployment but it’s not all that much and they tax you on top of it

Restaurants are a bit pricy, but food is delish. Dinner jackets required at the french and itallian restaurants.
The Cafe is the BEST!!! with so many delicious treats.
Go early for muffins, croissants, etc. Take the tour of the school and then go to cafe again for a wonderful lunch.

Been to Mohonk a few times, donatella. Great. Love going in the winter too, less crowded, WBF in every room.
I’ve been to Mohonk but more often hiked at Minnewaska which borders there. I’ve done x-cntry ski at Mohonk too.
