“I also have progressive lenses ” – now if only your politics were like your lenses you’d be all set.
They are progressive and they reflect the current dissatisfaction.
The Law & order episode last night where they railed against the teachers union and the rubber rooms is a great example. Jack McCoy ripped that union rep lawyer a new asshole.
Yes, BHO & DCB, Case Schiller 20 was +2.35% YOY…I think that’s your turning point
Also, Consumer Confidence was 63.3 and expected was 58.5.
Tuesday (today) will be the turnaround day in the stock market!!!!!!
Newwwwwwwww Yaaaaaaaaawk…Half Comps is where nightmares are maaaaaaaaaaaade of…Newwwwwww Yaaaaaaaaaawk Newwwwww Yaaaaaaaaaawk…
Not for nothing, it’s a tale of two data sets – non-seasonably adjusted (NSA) versus seasonably adjusted (SA). But YOY cancels out the season factor. NSA YOY is falling slower this reading but MOM is pointing to a faster decline which can ultimately speed up the YOY decline in the readings ahead.
There’s an eyeglass place on the west side of 5th Av. just before you get to Flatbush that has a large selection & the woman is very savvy about what frames are allowed by what plans & she doesn’t pressure you to upgrade – although I do recommend getting the extra protection offer if it’s not covered.
Hey Rob, Getting back to the eyeglasses thing for a moment — I have heard of people buying the readers in the drugstores [under $20] and getting those filled with prescriptive lenses. Might be one way to go to save money?
I also have seen in certain eyeglass stores that they have shelves set aside with particular frames that are less expensive and covered more fully by certain types of insurance. I suggest you look at your vision plan, and see if this might be the case for you.
Biff, that’s also the paper tiger F**king Rangers too.
Could be a turnaround stock market day. I am looking at 44.17 in the QQQQ as resistance. If we can clear that, it would be a very positive signal.
